Graduated Approaches Package
An educational alternative provision system that is a complex series of strategies and procedures with the intent to fulfil the ‘gap’ within a young person’s educational, social and behavioural development. The GAP has several key objectives within its system:
To improve the overall quality of life of a young person within an educational setting as an ‘Alternative Provision’.
Use strategies that are based upon the individual needs of the young person that aim to nurture their development in all facets.
Through these strategies, a young person will look to re-engage with their educational journey.
