Mr Madden is an experienced leader in both education and business. He has extensive experience over many decades of improving education outcomes for young people with SEMH needs. He is a fully qualified teacher and Headteacher, holding a Master's Degree. He has a real determination to see that every young person with SEMH needs achieves all they are capable of, both personally and academically.

Mrs. Benett holds a BSc in Psychology and is a qualified, experienced English teacher and Senior Leader. She has over thirteen years’ experience in improving student outcomes, both in mainstream and SEMH sectors. Mrs.Benett is passionate about embedding high expectations in young people, while providing them with the right support to ensure that they can achieve their very best and feel confident to navigate the world around them.

With a wealth of experience in Health and Social Care and nearly a decade working in Education, Miss Smith brings deep knowledge and passion to her role at The GAP. Her background includes leading the creation of an alternative provision within a specialist SEN school, where she championed the needs of children with SEMH challenges.

Miss Smith is dedicated to creating therapeutic, nurturing environments where young people feel safe, valued, and empowered to thrive. Her work is centred on helping students realise their potential, dream big, and build the confidence they need to pursue their goals.
